Pebbles Footprints

These tiny little feet are so cute! In the series pebble Footprints, Scottish person taking photos Iain Blake locations these beaming stones in joy footprint patterns and paths over his compositions. By supplementing just five minute pebble “toes” to a bigger pebble, the inanimate things become alive with emotion and character. The playful collection evokes a sense of family and community, sparking a yearn to understand more about those feet that Blake photographs—about where they have been and where they are going.

Whether the footprints conceive a moving pathway or form a motionless around, Blake is able to convey a unique narrative with each powerful composition. Here is the assemblage of some of his unbelievable work.
