BBQ

Just in time for summer and BBQ season, Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann of the french creative studio Zim&Zou have created a scale barbeque grill entirely made of paper. Steaks, chicken drum sticks, skewers, good ol’ fashioned hotdogs you name it Zim&Zou have thought of everything.
The project, ‘BBQ’ originally came from complex, intricate illustrations, which where translated into a three-dimensional paper installation. Lucie Thomas and Thibault Zimmermann have both studied graphic design and create everything together, beginnig with the process of shaping a concept and ending with the photo shoot. With a great love of detail they have, rather than composing images on a computer, created a visually arresting explosion of colour.
