Breathtaking Reflections of Paris
While on a vacation to Paris, most of us end up taking the same pictures of its most well known landmarks, like the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Arc de Triomphe. Having dwelled in Paris for the last four years, art historian Joanna Lemanska sees the town in a whole new light. Though she still frequents those highly photographed sites, she's adept to display them in a new and unique way. Using her iPhone 4s, a Fujifilm x10 or a Nikon Coolpix, she finds a puddle or a shiny object like reflectors, glass and steel and values them to shoot unbelievably beautiful reflections.
"I relish all kind of reflections and I don't have any specific fondness for Paris. It could be London, Berlin or New York, she notifies us. "It's just that I reside in Paris, so naturally the most of my photographs are taken there. What I'm looking for in reflections are flawless composition and aesthetic delight. occasionally reflections give a exclusive, aquarelle-like gaze to the image. occasionally they make the image look futuristic and unbelievable. firing reflections is like a playground for me as I actually relish looking for puddles and slippy exterior, just to glimpse what kind of different consequences they have to offer."
