Storytelling Through Visual Creativity

Canadian creative person Leah Johnston has mastered the art of storytelling through her visually creative and expressive fine art taking photos. Each surreal view is a self-portrait that blends performance art and post-processing to make an intriguing narrative. The creative person bravely takes us on adventures through a lively and individual world that arises from her own creative writing. The emotional moments conveyed in each composition, paired with names like Grasping Our Potential, circuits of unhappiness, and ocean of Broken aspirations, are a window into Johnston's innermost thoughts and sentiments.
Having habitually been fascinated with how mysteries sway our everyday inhabits, Johnston states, "It is here, in the secret worlds of our minds, that we are truly able to express our innermost selves, freely exploring the expansive realities of the soul; with stripes of the boxes that society has put us in. It is both my own yearning for this world and my daily repression of it that spurs me to create."
