Vivi Mac's Food Art

French artist Vivi Mac is constantly challenging herself to make portraits using diverse foods e.g. barbecue sauce, milk, chocolate, sugar, and more.
Having recently featured drawings by Honey, she also has an interesting collection of food and daily object art. E.g. The face of Bob Marley, James Dean, and other figures are pricked onto bananas. Honey explains her process: “I would draw an outline on the banana first, then filled it in with lots of tiny punctures using a safety pin. The holes will start to turn brown immediately.” Another notable piece is the man silhouette made from eraser bits.
