Wooden Sculptures By Mario Dilitz

The proficiency to give expression to the human pattern, to convey and convert its dialect is an ability, which the sculptor Mario Dilitz decisively has. By combining sculptural information and technical abilities with up to date matters he organises to to create sculptures of large intensity and appeal. His sculptures, most of them life-sized, are made of high value laminated timber. After a method of decimation and reconstructing the timber gains a new pattern of steadiness. Through a profound battle with the vagaries of human reality he juxtaposes the aesthetic attractiveness of his sculpture with content of present matters. Mario Dilitz on one hand manifests the contradictions of human environment, on the other he organises beautifully to join them in his work. The alternative of material reveals and emphasizes these contradictions – by utilising red glue he signals his creations unmistakably.
