Tiny Playful Birds
Every year, creative person Chris Maynard watches for birds to shed their plumage, collects the rejected components, and devotes new life to the dropped feathers. His slash plumage Shadowboxes are an astonishing brandish of natural assets transformed into elaborate hand-carved sculptures.
Maynard uses tiny eye surgery pair of pair of scissors, forceps, and magnifying crystal to conceive the alert scenes where lesser birds emerge from the feathery backgrounds. He adds deepness to each carving by placing it into a shadowbox, permitting the lights, shaded, and textures to work simultaneously in dynamic arrangements.
His passion for birds is apparent in the broad variety of plumage, flapping wings, and tiny sits on that are prominent all through each piece. The artist is particularly enthralled by plumage because he states they "mark nature’s pinnacle of accomplishment: the intersection of function and beauty. They make air travel likely, proceed as incredible insulation, and their colors and patterns appeal friends and help them hide."
