3D Glass Sculptures Inspired by Wind and Water

Over the past six years, creative person Shayna Leib has been conceiving unbelievable sculptures that display the action of breeze and water over sea anemone-likelandscapes. motivated by her journeys, encompassing her deep water dives, this Madison, Wisconsin-based artist concepts these unique glass sculptures that emerge like sculptures popping out of paintings. Most amazing is her proficiency to rotate and turn the glass to create the illusion of action.
"Two of the most mighty elements on our planet are almost indiscernible to the human eye, yet we are innately cognizant of their presence, their capacity to soothe and decimate, and their ability to weave patterns where they touch," she states about her Wind and Water sequence.
"Wind and water possess no intrinsic hue, are clear to the issue of invisibility, and yet move through space. We glimpse not their pattern itself, but can detect their patterns and forms only vicariously though the things they affect. The find of water's feel over moss and sea life, the wind's passage over marshlands, through wheat areas and the fur of a long-haired animal- these two forces make their occurrence renowned. Their character is at odds and fickle, encompassing fragility and violence, placidity and turbulence.
"They depart their assess upon our world. We have discovered some of their patterns and entitled them, giving them feature and life: Kuroshio, Leeuwin, Sirocco, Charybdis, Boreas, Agulhas, the Nor'easters. The breeze & Water series was conceived to explore their leverage through sculptural glass landscape."
