The Eternal Jungle

For its 13th Carte Blanche, the Hermès store at Hong Kong International aerodrome is displaying a piece by the French artists Zim&Zou, 'The Eternal Jungle', which is an request into the untamed.
The window setting up creates an intriguing compare between the jungle, a world that is dominated by untamed animals, and one of large refinement, the world of Hermès. The window is leveraged by the abundance of vegetation in Hong Kong.
The installation exhibitions the finest abilities in paper-cut art and leather work. residual faithful to its initial purity, the creative persons conceive intricate things with the paper, a material both attractive and versatile. The 'Monkey', 'Toucan', and 'Chameleon' are all handcrafted and brought to life with leather off cuts mindfully selected from the Hermès workshops.
