Paintings of Females Experiencing Solitary Moments

Founded in California, artist Clare Elsaesser has always been creative. She attended art high school and school, but has only worked as a full-time artist for the past two years. Her paintings are a spectacular assemblage of feminine numbers and silhouettes, either turned away from the viewer or concealing their faces behind their hair or inside bunches of blossoms. These numerous beautiful instants of calm and reflective solitude are created with acrylics on watercolor paper or oil tints on wood panels, and subsequent reproduced as Giclée publishes.
By painting faceless figures, Elsaesser evolves topics with universal persona and permits her viewers to make attachments with the subjects based on their own individual thoughts and feelings. The creative person says "My paintings are motivated by daydreams, withdraw, and the formidable environment out-of-doors my window." By choosing palettes of vibrant blues, greens, and yellows, the creative person enhances the harmonious environment of each tranquil scene.
